Norfolk, VA Full-Time Machining

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts. Must read blueprints, make offsets, and hold tight tolerances independently. 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Quality Assurance Inspector

First shift QA Inspector performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections on machined, fabricated, and welded parts. Calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, and blueprint reading required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and final parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges, and optical comparator.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, weld, and sheet metal drawings; verify first-article dimensions and complete corresponding inspection records.
  • Document non-conforming product, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of close/tight-tolerance mechanical inspection experience; GD&T knowledge strongly preferred; ISO 9001:2015 familiarity required.
